They first met at their local church, Rise Up Ministries in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, where both served in the music ministry. Josh played the guitar, and Dannah sang — their paths crossing only during worship as they faithfully served the Lord back in 2019. Later that year, they began to talk more and discovered their shared love for food. From trying out newly opened restaurants to sipping milk tea together, their friendship grew deeper.

No words were said at first, but somehow, they both felt that there was something special between them. Confessing their feelings wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. With the guidance and blessings of their parents, their senior pastor, and spiritual father, their relationship began—rooted in love, faith, and prayer.

Through ups and downs, they became each other’s constant support, each other’s backup. With God at the center of their relationship, they continued to grow not only in ministry but also in life (and yes, maybe a little physically too!). It has been a long journey, filled with laughter, tears, lessons, and joy. Through it all, they remained strong, faithful, and respectful toward each other. They faced challenges hand in hand, trusting in God’s faithfulness every step of the way. And now, here they are, ready to stand before God, their families, and friends as they finally say, “I do.”
